DEAR STUDENTS,
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM KEELE UNIVERSITY. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
MESSAGE FROM KEELE UNIVERSITY
Keele University has created comprehensive video guides that will help to explain some of the Library resources available to KDU staff and students. This includes:
- How to access the Keele Library Catalogue,
- How to perform basic searches (keyword, title, author and subject)
- How to find eBooks
- How to find print and electronic journals
- Saving search results, and,
- Managing your Library record
These videos can be found at http://www.keele.ac.uk/kms/libraryservices/
There also seems to be some confusion surrounding Athens. Keele is trying to eliminate having to use separate login details for electronic Library resources, however, we are finding that some services still request them. All Keele-registered staff and students are sent an automatically generated email with Athens login details. To find them, please login (using your Keele username and password) to http://webmail.keele.ac.uk/ and look for an email titled 'Athens account '********' has been created/modified for you'.
Finally, many of the modules that are taught at KDU now have associated electronic reading lists. Links to reading lists can be found on the 'General Information' page of each KLE module. Alternatively, you can search by module at http://lists.lib.keele.ac.uk/. This is an easy way to find electronic resources. Our range of eBooks and eJournals continue to grow as student demand increases.
Business and Management also have their own dedicated page at http://www.keele.ac.uk/library/find/subject/businessandmanagement/
Human Resource Management have their own dedicated page at http://www.keele.ac.uk/library/find/subject/humanresourcemanagement/
Marketing have their own dedicated page at http://www.keele.ac.uk/library/find/subject/marketing/
If you have any further queries about the library resources, please email to Ms. Angela for assistance.
ALL RETURNING STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO RE-REGISTER ON E-VISION BEFORE 21ST OCTOBER 2011. FAILING WHICH, YOU WILL LOSE ACCESS TO THE KEELE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND WILL BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE PROGRAMME.
Please see below for the link to a comprehensive video guide to the Keele Library services. It can be found at http://www.keele.ac.uk/kms/libraryservices
The videos were recorded and edited during the summer to reflect the developments that have taken place. As you will see, the KMS page splits the video into bitesize sections including;
- How to access the Keele Library Catalogue,
- How to perform basic searches (keyword, title, author and subject)
- How to find eBooks
- How to find print and electronic journals
- Saving search results, and,
- Managing your Library record
