Hi Everybody,
As some of you are approaching deadlines already, I have produced a short video which shows students how to submit an assignment using Turnitin within WebCT. The video can be seen at http://screenr.com/6pN .
I would ask that you only use this as a preview. If you would like to make this video available for students, please use the 'Download the
.mp4 file' link on the right of the screen and upload it to WebCT.
Alternatively, reply to this email with your module number(s) and I will publish it for you. If you are teaching in a room with AV facilities, you may also wish to show the video as part of your lecture/tutorial.
Again, there is a comprehensive staff guide available at http://www.keele.ac.uk/depts/aa/landt/docs/KeeleStaffGuideTII2009.pdf .
This will guide you through the process of setting up a Turnitin assignment.
Thanks,
Dear Year 1 Semester 2 students,

Dear all,
Fire Evacuation Drill.
There will be a fire evacuation drill this Thursday, Oct 22nd. The exercise will start at 10 am. The main objective of this exercise is to evacuate all persons from the building in a safe and orderly manner (do not run) within 5 minutes.
Instructions for evacuation (when the fire alarm rings):
All students have to evacuate in an orderly and safe manner. Use the closest staircase and exit the building through the main entrance and gather at DJROA.
This is a very important exercise to ensure we all know what to do to during an emergency situation.
Thanks and be alert.
