Dear all students,
Welcome to all new Year 1 and Year 2 students and welcome back to all returning students! Please note that this blog is aimed to provide quick and easy access to important information to all Keele students (besides the noticeboard in the campus)

Also, note that the chat box available on this blog is for students to socialise, it is not the proper channel to communicate with the Programme Leader (I do not check the chat box), please see me personally if you have any issues.
A. GENERAL
Consultation Hours - please see me only during this hours for signature or other matters. Adhere to these timings STRICTLY.
- Wednesday 22/9 - 9.30am - 1130am , 2 - 4pm
- Thursday 23/9 - 9.30 - 1130am , 2 - 4pm
- Friday 24/9 - NO Consultation due to KDU Convocation 2010
1. Academic Calendar posted on the top left hand corner under the header "INFORMATION".
2. Subject registration - please note that you may register your subjects beginning 20th September 2010. Here are some important information when registering.
a) All registration forms are placed at the front counter (labeled according to different majors, so please take the correct one).
b) Year 1, 2 and 3 registers using the same form.
c) There is also a guide on which subjects to choose at the front counter, please take a copy for your own use as it also contains the academic calendar.
d) In your subject registration, make sure you fill up all your particulars (i.e. name, KDU and Keele ID, address, mobile phone etc. It is important to notify us if you have changed address or phone number since you first registered, otherwise we cannot contact you if there are any important information)
e) Only after all information is entered, subjects selected and signed, then only you see the Programme Leader for verification and signature.
f) After that, proceed to A&B to register your subjects and obtain your proforma invoice.
3. Support the School of Arts and Social Science's sports team, if you are keen to join (i.e. basketball, football, volleyball, cheerleading, badminton or any sports that you are keen in), please let the lecturer in charge, Mr. KC know.

1. Orientation (new students) - 20th September 2010 (Monday), 10am - 1pm, Venue: LH2
2. Orientation (new students) - for those who missed the first one 27th September 2010 (Monday), 10am - 1pm, Venue: Block D, Room 207
C. RETURNING
1. Guide your juniors if they approach you for help.
2. Please register early.
